While the dollar has declined over the past six months, it remains close to a 10-year high versus currencies of countries with which the U.S. trades. It also remains the primary currency used for trade and financial transactions in the global economy. The size of the recent non-dollar transactions that have raised alarm are very small. Trade in yuan accounted for less than 2% of global trade in 2022.

There has been a long-term trend toward currency diversification in global financial transactions and trade, but we don't see the U.S. dollar losing its dominance any time soon.

I couldn't agree more. Both parties need to reduce spending, seriously reduce,
and not just use the fuzzy math.

The first place to start is to secure the border. We are spending more than $100 billion a YEAR for them.

The second place is to crack down on the abuse of the SSDI system. It’s atrocious how much money is stolen from the government via that program.

The third place is to require any able-bodied adult without pre-school children to get a job in order to keep getting Medicaid, food stamps, subsidized housing, etc.

The fourth place is to abolish the child tax credits for any family earning $100,000 a year or more. It is ridiculous to have people earning $40,000 help support the children of affluent earners.

The fifth place is to stop this talk about reparations. There’s no money for it, and any talk of it is a blatant attempt to buy the votes of blacks.

I could go on, but this is a start.
