How has Trump hurt or harmed you personally, tangibly, or physically?

Some weirdo in cyberspace named Golfing Gator plays with his penny stock account and says a “trade war” is bad for America...Meanwhile, highly educated economists privy to ALL information are advising our President to fight this war. Connect the dots people.

not all of us have the blind faith in the government that you possess.

after all, highly educated economists privy to ALL information advised our last POTUS to pass ObamaCare...but I am sure you are a big fan of that.

Haha...there you go again with the “But, but, but THE KENYAN!” shit.....Look, NOBODY educated advised the filthy Nugga that Obeaner Care was sustainable...The spreadsheet never made sense. You’re pulling shit from your ass like usual.
Obeaner Care always was a political ploy and nothing more.

so is the trade war you fucking moron.

and is it not possible for you to make even a single post that is not filled with racist bullshit? you are getting to the point where you are not even worth the 20 seconds it takes to type a response to.
You're getting to the point where you show up every day whining about something.

But Golfing Gator swears “he’s not a LefTard”
Clearly his typing fingers are.

yes, because not blindly trusting the government like you do makes me a lefttard. fuck you are stupid

Yes, the president has absolutely nothing to do with debt. Despite him signing legislation and input on the budget.
You know damn well im not a leftist. Are you that much of a hack dude?
well the OP is your debt, not the country's. I see following directions is difficult for you.
Well if the national debt has nothing to do with me then why does it matter at all?
If it doesnt effect citizens, lets borrow 1000 trillion and make every citizen a billionaire.
/---/ The National Debt is the money we owe to ourselves because we overspend. And the president is under pressure to sign it. Look at the last CR that Trump refused to sign. The Gubmint shut down and Libtards crawled out of the woodwork attacking him 24/7 with sob stories about nonessential works living from paycheck to paycheck and going to food banks. OR did you conveniently forget about that?

Honest question as I am too lazy to do a search, did you give Obama a free pass on the national debt like you are with Trump?

do you argue with all the people on this forum that say that Obama doubled the national debt?
/---/ Not only here but going back to 2000 on the old Yahoo Finance Chat Boards.

well, I have never seen you disagree when someone post that Obama doubled the debt, but I will take your word for it.

/---/ You stupid libtard - that's congresses responsibility - so where is Nancy Pants balanced budget?

We're still feeling the effects of Obamacare. One minute you bash Obamacare, the next you defend it.

So, you have gained enormously since Trump took office,. The fact you had some ups and downs means nothing, if you truly have it for retirement.

407 days of stagnation...that is not 'some ups and downs".
What do you want? How should the market behave to please you?

I want the government to get the fuck out of the way of the free market. I know that such a concept is beyond your ability to even think about, but not all of us want the government controlling our fucking lives.
We both want the government to get out of the way, but you're schizophrenic on that concept when you defend democrats and their policies.

No way GG went to UF.

His sense of humor is waaay too terrible.

Trump has led to idiots fleeing high tax states and trying to turn Texas and Florida into the shitholes they are fleeing.

Lol. Wow these excuses are hilarious

Excuses? I'm just pointing out to your ignorant ass that the President, whether Obama or Trump, does NOT pass law and it's CONGRESS that is responsible for allocating money.
They sign the fucking thing, you stupid hack

LOL! So that makes them responsible? You're a fool.
Omg.
Why are you even here? Shouldnt you be working on growing another chromosome?

Wow, you're a whiny pissant when you've been shown to be foolish. Come back after you pass your civics class.
Me? Lol oh wow
Bless your ignorant heart

Freshman class of 1982. The year that Playboy ranked UF so far above the rest of the nation in partying it was not fair to put them in the top 20, so they got their own special class!

Robin Williams was at Gator Growl that year! One of the funniest people to ever live. The following year they had Bob Hope and he got booed by us students!

/----/ " I leave to trained professionals, though we do communicate often. "
That's your first mistake. Never let anyone manage your money. Do your homework and make your own decisions because no one cares more about your financial security than you do. The so-called trained professions didn't do a very good job except when it came to making trades to earn more commissions. Join a local Stock Market Trading Club.

That is not a mistake, I am not afraid of professionalism. I take my cars to trained professionals to fix them, my health is under the guidance of trained professionals, they all have more information and expertise than I do.

As I said, I have an account I dabble in, when it gets to a certain point I move the extra to other accounts.

This is how it fared yesterday...lost less than the markets as a whole.

/----/ Yesterday I was up $2,720. I had bought 1,000 ETF TQQQ at $50.13 on 2/19 and sold it yesterday at $52.85. I'm waiting for the price to drop back at around $50 a share. February I was up $31,000 between regular trades in ETFs, some Pot Stocks and Covered calls. January was $18,000. Got these leads from IBD and my stock trader club - free to join and monthly meetings.

everybody has good days and bad days.
/----/ Agreed but at least with mine, I get the credit or take the blame for my decisions All political bickering aside, please take my advice and get this book from the Public Library if you don't want to buy it. It explains sensible investing strategies. https://www.amazon.com/Rule-Strategy-Successful-Investing-Minutes/dp/0307336840/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=rule+#1+phil+town&qid=1551799312&s=books&sr=1-1-catcorr

thanks for the book idea, I will order it today. These kinds of books I tend to highlight with multiple colors, so checking it out is a bad idea! :21::21:
/---/ WE BETTER MOVE THIS TO THE INVESTMENT THREAD BEFORE THE MOD YELLS AT US.
Even if you prefer to let total strangers manage your money - the book will make you an educated consumer and better understand what they are telling you. BTW, while I was posting here, I sold 10 contracts PUTs on TQQQ for $50.50 expiring this Friday for 40 cents a share. That means if the price of TQQQ drops to $50.50 a share by Friday's close I'm obligated to buy it from the market makers for that price. If it closes and $50.51 or higher I don't have to buy it. either way, I keep the $400 premium as income. Did anyone else make $400 posting here today?

SELL -10 TQQQ 100 (Weeklys) 8 MAR 19 50.5 PUT @.40 LMT CBOE [TO OPEN] = $400 less a small commission

my financial guy is not a total stranger, we have been friends since 2003, used to teach his kids in Kids Church. He was a golf pro before taking on his new job, so he was also my golf instructor when i took the game back up a few years ago.

407 days of stagnation? Yet overall increase.
According to the experts, a correction occurred, which had been expected and due. And they do not claim 407 days of stagnation, as you do, by the way sideways is the same as your stagnation, if you aren’t aware. If you are buying on highs, you are killing yourself. Even with concern over trade wars, the markets overall are way up.
And once again, unless you are making some stupid moves, the markets have increased dramatically since Trump took office, and you should have gained a lot, unless...
Though I suspect you are just trying to once again say ‘Orange man bad’, simply because it’s the thing to do.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average's highest closing record is 26,828.39, set on October 3, 2018. It followed a record set the previous day. Investors were confident in a growing U.S. economy. Since then through January 2019, the Dow has traded sideways. Investors are concerned about President Trump's trade wars and the impact of the government shutdown.

And once again-
Jan 20, 2017, day he took office-
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) declined 0.4%, to close at 19,732.40. The S&P 500 also decreased 0.4% to close at 2,263.69. The tech-laden Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 5,540.08, losing 0.3%. The fear-gauge CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) increased 2.4% to settle at 12.78. He is making us more in debt. He embarrasses me a lot.

Trump isn't responsible for that. That's Congress.
Did he veto that legislation?

Nope. Did you want the government shut down?

Can you do me a favor and remind the current President of that fact.

Ok Democrats, progressives, liberals, leftists, and socialists. Here's your chance to unload on President Trump. Please tell me if you can, exactly what has President Trump done to hurt, harm, or damage you personally, tangibly, or materially?

I don't mean vague idealistic concepts like "He messin' wit muh constutunal rights" or "Trump cheated muh HIllary."

I mean just what has Trump done to hurt you materially, to take something away from you, or to make your life worse off that it was before?

On the 22nd of Jan 2018 Trump issued his first tariffs showing that he was stupid enough to start a trade war. On that day the DJI was at 26,214.60. 407 days later it is at 25,814.55.

On that same day the S&P 500 was at 2,832.97, 407 days later it is at 2,791.67.

On that same day the NASDAQ was at 6,906.28, 407 days later it is at 7,154.91.

So, 407 days of stagnation in the financial markets. That is 407 days of little to no growth for my 401ks, that is 407 days of little to no growth for my investment portfolios.

That is 407 days of preparing for retirement that has been wasted thanks to a stupid, unneeded trade war. 407 days that we cannot get back.
The prime rate under Obama and the current prime rate.

We're still feeling the effects of Obamacare. One minute you bash Obamacare, the next you defend it.

when did I defend obamacare? please copy and paste where I defended it.
You defend Obamacare when you cry about the national debt. We're still feeling the effects of Obamacare by the rising of our debt.

wait...so ObamaCare is raising the debt, and I am against the debt going up and you think that being against the debt going up is supporting ObamaCare. If i am agsint the debt going up and we agree that ObamaCare is making it worse...would not that mean I am agasint ObamaCare?

are you really this stupid or is this just an act?

Also, the biggest issue with ObamaCare is the new rules and regulations it added to hospitals. It drove many rural ones out of business or forced them to sell out to larger corporations just to survive. Patients get worse care now because of ObamaCare because money is spent on stupid shit instead of increased nursing and tech staff.
