Each issue resulting in higher taxes. Each issue proven to be untrue and then evaporates out of the public consciousness, since the next new big thing is being propagated by the leftist media.
Before you know it, the global cooling shit and predictions of the 70s is gone. Even though that resulted in weird climate policies being passed and more agencies being expanded, it proved to be totally untrue.
