I could be wrong, but maybe dwelling is not what is being done. Instead maybe showing appreciation is how people to decide to acknowledge whatever holidays are still a part of our calendar.

I am an Atheists who has no problem with the Christmas holiday.

Meanwhile in my community all the places for a Fireworks show are planned this year, all are free too. I can see from the Stadium in Pasco 3 of them easily.
