Probably by continuing to hide among civilians as they have been doing since they committed that hideous act of cowardly brutality. The pounding that Israel is giving Hamas - wherever Hamas chooses to hide - will keep them from repeating it on October 7th, 2024, less than ten days from now.
If Israel had done the unilateral "cease fire" that the American left is demanding, Hamas would have used to break to re-group, re-arm, and repeat their attack.
That means that on October 8th, there will be Israel men, women, children and babies alive and unharmed that might be dead, mutilated or burned if Israel had been "compassionate" in the way many Democrats demanded.
Sadly, American Jews will not be as safe as those in Israel.
Here is an article in a magazine about safety for college campuses. It is composed entirely of "bothsidesism," instead of focusing on making sure Jews are not attacked as they have been all year.
