One day they're suggesting we raise the retirement age to 70 because people are living longer. Then the next day they say they are not trying to fuck us with their policies.

If you raise my retirement age from 65 to 67 that means I have to work 2 more years. To me, this is the biggest screw job a politician could ever do to me. Republicans cry about Democrats raising their taxes, waaah, they cost me money! Waaah!! Cry cry cry. But they don't bat an eye at the thought of having to get up 5 days a week and go work 9 hour days for the next two fucking years!!! I consider it prison. Add another 2 years on to my fucking prison sentence! Fuck you!!!!!!!!

I want them to lower medicare to 62. I talk to a lot of seniors who would retire at 62 but they can't because private healthcare is too expensive for an old person or old couple.

These programs were put into place when the age of retirement and the likelihood of dying at approximately that same age was high.
They weren't meant to support freeloaders for a quarter of their life.

The age should have been going up all of this time.
