No thanks. We get the occasional 30 degrees F in our winter but only occasionally. I recall one a few years back. Wood fire was working overtime.

Played golf last Friday --- 60 degrees

Snowed on Saturday --- 18 degrees

Cold on Sunday ---- 3 below zero

Warming up today --- 30 degrees, 40 degrees tomorrow

Got a tee time on Friday --- supposed to be in the high 50s

gotta love the consistency.

This past Saturday --- hit 70 degrees.

The previous morning ---- 12.

I just got my home power back on Sunday after an ice storm on Wednesday toppled so many trees the whole town was in chaos.

I don't think it dropped down any lower than the high thirties or low 40s inside my house, though. Outside, it hovered between 25 and 30.

The temp at my house is 20 degrees warmer today than it was yesterday. Outside it's 27. Supposed to warm up to mid 30s tomorrow.

My most favorite singer James Otto is in North Dakota right now for Christmas where his family's farm is and the windchill there is like -47.

I like winter bc its the only time of the year I can go skiing in Big Bear Lake or Mammoth Lake up north. We are having a good snow this year.

It was -6 with wind chill here on Thursday night and some of Friday. It was soooo cold.

18-20F? That's not killing cold. Anything with a minus in front of it is, though. Unfortunately, I work outdoors and must endure killing cold fairly regularly, and it gets worse with wind chill factored into the equation. You dress in layers, many, many layers, and you minimize your exposure as much as possible. I gain about 20-25 lbs of clothing when it gets really cold here.
