i do a lot of bicycling on the Pinellas trail. Hit the trail bout every day...kind of a problem now...lots of thunderstorms about.

I went AWOL once from Ft. Chaffee Arkansas.....during bootcamp.

Got homesick...so i went home for the week-end. Bribed the corporal ...a colored guy.

The kentucky outfit conducting our basic training liked to put blacks into leadership role to piss off all us southern boys.

They hated Arkansas with a passion...they were reservists called up during the berlin crisis. So they took it out on us.

Gave him 5 bucks thought I was good to go.

Unfortunately, someone ratted me out.
