I also took hebrew classes once. I still get phone calls, whatsapp messages, and sms from israelis from israel. I studied at the "israeli institute of biblical studies", does anyone know them by any chance? Are they in any way renowned or maybe scammers?

I dont think there is such a thing as a Hebrew school scam. It wouldnt exactly attract a large number of victims.
