Biden’s DOJ certainly won’t prosecute Trump – that would establish a dangerous precedent for Biden and future presidents.

And there’s some merit to the argument that we don’t want future presidents reluctant to take needed action to protect the American people because that action might be considered illegal.

Presidents are not above the law, of course – hence the impeachment process; unfortunately the Senate has seen fit to render that process de facto null and void.
