If God created everything including this universe, and existed prior to the Big Bang, created the Big Bang, and the 'room' the universe's time-space now occupies, then did our universe 'overwrite' a previous universe? And if so, and God did it, did God wipe out an entire universe?

Missed taking your meds again? Have a friend or neighbor sit with you until this passes. Whatever you do, don't jump, things will get better.

Well, the universe exists for sure. If you think God does too then you have to reconcile the big bang and God. Since logicly there had to be space for the space the universe now is to occupy, logicly there had to have been a universe here already for the new universe to occupy. So if God created the big bang and that overwrote a preexisting universe you have to ask if it was inhabited. And because it's God we're talking about why would God have created a lifeless universe?

Ergo, God wiped out an entire universe filled with however many sentient beings. Not like it's without precedent. Wiped out an entire planet but for a boatload of 'special' ones. And if God exists, then all the supernovas, black holes, gamma ray bursts wiping out whole solar systems are by God's consent. God is in effect a mass murderer of galactic proportions.

Have any idea as to why apples grow on trees instead of on vines? If a baseball team gets 4 runs in the ninth to send the game into extra innings, how many runs did the other team have?

In the beginning, man had to search for food. Where did he find it, and what was it that he found?

I gots a better question.

If "all of this didn't just happen and there has to be a creator" (I don't hold that but some do), thereby "proving" the existence of God ---- then who/what created God? "He" couldn't just happen, there "had to be a creator"..... that is, if one is going to be consistent.

When I was a kid I'd ponder the Velveeta cheese box. On its side was pictured a pitcher of milk, with an image of the same cheese box inside it. On that box was a pitcher of milk with an image of the same cheese box inside it. On that box was a pitcher of milk...

SPACE and time are part of the fabric of our universe. They cannot exist without it. Therefore, there is NOTHING outside the universe. Not even empty space.

If there's "nothing outside of it" --- then how can there be an "outside"?

Ever hear of the theory of relativity? Some guy named Einstein figured it out. It explains what I said.

Been writing about it since 8th grade in fact. Special and general relativity don't apply outside the universe especially if there is no 'outside the universe.' In fact there is "space" outside the universe. Both in the sense that there's the ;visible universe' and the universe beyond that which makes up the majority of the space space occupies, but also in the sense that multiverse theory describes a 'greater verse' where this universe is akin to a soap bubble resting on other bubble-verses.

Mostly conjecture. We have no way of knowing what, if anything, is outside our universe.

There is no conjecture about God. There is actually more evidence that He exists than there is for the theory of abiogenesis.

I really don't want to start a lengthy discussion right now. I'm on my smart phone, and typing isn't exactly fast or easy.
