What Texas law states is that there is no minimum age to possess a firearm, but adult supervision is required, and the adult is criminally liable for any misuse.

Actually you can legally own a grenade launcher if you jump through the hoops. A live grenade would be classified as a 'destructive device" by the BATF. It would probably be hard to find a live grenade that was transferable and the price would be expensive. Then you'd also have to pay the $200 tax stamp on it.

Criminals can get them for pretty cheap though, if they know the right people.
