As the vast majority of the public has absolutely NO comprehension of the intensity of law enforcement's job (federal, state, county, or city) and how life and death decisions have to be made in a split-second (no time to ponder the situation), some form of qualified immunity should be there and any law-suit should only be against the federal, state, or local government involved, not the agent/officer that had to make that decision.
If however, the public removes any and all protections for the agents/officers, then the same should be held for politicians that let in criminal illegal-migrants that create victims. Illegal migrants have been shown to create twice as many crimes as our own citizens. So, if this current administration lets in some illegal migrant rapist or murderer and he/she/it commits major crime, the "Border Czar," should get some jail time....oh wait, that's Kamala Harris. That works for me.

Qualified immunity is a license to print bad cops. There are hundreds of videos on youtube of corrupt cops abusing people because they know they can get away with it.
