The governors of every state in the United States sent nursing home patients back to the nursing homes after they had we’re no longer infectious, not just New York. That’s because the CDC recommended that they do so.

In fact, the state of New York had a much lower rate of nursing home deaths than either Texas or Florida, who had six months to prepare before the virus reach their states.
