The other day, Hillary Clinton assembled a group of friends at Whitehaven, her home in Washington, D.C., where she raised a glass of wine and proposed a toast.

“I’ll be back!” she said, imitating the growl of Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator.

Everyone laughed at Hillary’s rare attempt at humor about her shocking presidential defeat.

But back as what?

Are the rumors true that she is considering a run for mayor of New York City? Is she interested in becoming the president of a university, a foundation, or a think tank?

As it turns out, according to a close Clinton source who spoke with Ed Klein Confidential, Hillary isn’t thinking about any of those roles right now.

“She’s been talking very seriously about the idea of having her own television show,” said the source. “As a TV host, she’d discuss the issues of the day from a progressive point of view, have top guests, interview world leaders and progressive thinkers.

“It would have to be a show that she and her people completely controlled,” the source continued. “She’s convinced she’d get fabulous ratings in a political climate where there’s so much anger in Democratic circles over Donald Trump’s election.

“She’s utterly determined not to fade into the background. She intends to stay in the limelight and keep fighting the good fight. She knows Obama is going to be out there fighting too. But frankly, she doesn’t think he’s a great leader or a great fighter, which leaves an opening for her to be the acknowledged leader-in-exile of her party.

“She thinks being the host of a popular TV show would energize the Democratic Party base and her tens of millions of fans. It’s a way to make a comeback and position herself for another run at the White House starting in a year or so.”

There's another wasted hour on cable tv ---- right up there with infomercials for those shoe inserts and that new Japanese knife that can cut a car in half.

She might get started out in primetime, but will soon be the late-late-late-late show on some low rate cable station.

Doesn't being a television personality require a personality?

Apparently not a good one ...

She shouldn't run again. But she most certainly should go rogue after all the craven republicans who hate everything this nation stands for. If somehow I could get a moment of her ear, I'd ask her to take the nuclear option.

you would only hear the echo...echo....echo...echo....

You do realize that she is not in government and has no nuclear option, don't you?

I hear she is going to be in the next Star Wars movie, as the ghost of Vader:

I was afraid she'd be like the monsters in the horror flicks. Right when you think they have returned to hell, they come back. And each sequel is worse than the last.

Way past time for that decrepit woman to retire. She looks like walking death unless professional makeup artists do their magic.

I'm thinking a tv game show.... I'm thinking double jeopardy.

I'm thinking I can just see it now, " I'll take what difference does it make for 200 please"

Air America comes to mind.

That crossed my mind, too. Liberals stink so bad that other liberals don't even listen to them. Air America failed so miserably yet they kept Maddow around.

Hillary just doesn't have a personality. She is about as warm and likeable as a frozen dog turd in the yard. All she knows how to do is insult a lot of people with her snarky remarks. She could join Maddow and bitch about America. Not that Maddow needs any help disparaging citizens who don't subscribe to the left's narrative.

She will fail at that just like she's failed at every other job she's had. Assuming her head doesn't start bobbing all weird and she falls out of her chair.
