I'm confused about what is billed as good news about 0bamacare

Friday the supreme court announced they were going to review a part of 0bamacare. States that have yet to set up exchanges currently have 0bamacare taken care another way, which some folks are saying is illegal. The court is being asked if it is.

Currently 34 (?) states don't have the exchanges.

why is this good news? Why is it being billed as the death of 0bamacare if the court says it is illegal?

As I understand it, it will kill subsidies, killing PPACA.

PPACA is simply nothing more than income redistribution, designed to make people who were already responsible enough to have insurance subsidize the irresponsible through outrageous rate increases and benefit reductions.

Bullshit. Medical care is a right. People who have health insurance aren't demonstrating responsibility, in most cases their employers are paying for it. People with pre-existing conditions couldn't buy health insurance at any price before the ACA. Health care for the uninsured was already being subsidized by the insured.

A) Learn the difference between healthcare and healthcare insurance
B) No matter whether you agree with the ACA or not, it IS mandating that people who pay for insurance subsidize those who can't.

I'm well aware of the difference between healthcare and health insurance.

People with insurance were already paying for the healthcare of those without insurance. And it was costing the insured more than subsidizing insurance for the uninsured.

What I find laughable is that Americans are clinging to the worst healthcare payment system in the world for reasons that the rest of the first world, all of whom have single payer systems, cannot fathom.
