With the next Presidential election less than 14 months away, why has impeaching Trump suddenly become such a pressing issue for the Democrats? Are they fearful of impending Justice Department reports that outline their criminal activities? Is impeachment intended to be a bargaining chip to ward off prosecution?
Trump has shown himself to be less than cooperative as the House investigates. Impeachment means they can now subpoena administration officials and have them testify under oath. The Dems know the Senate will never convict but at least the people will know what they found and can make an informed choice without the lies.
