You have to understand, Americans only get Government/Corporate Media propgaanda. Right now they're told Iran is a 'Boogeyman.' But there are many others like... Russia, China, North Korea, Syria, and so on.

In reality, our closest 'allies' like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan, are the most evil nations on this planet. But Americans are told they're 'friends', so who cares that they're evil folks. Americans are clueless when it comes to reality. That's just the truth.

My views, based on experience with Iran (and the other nations you mentioned), on Iran and those other nations have nothing to do with Government/Corporate Media propaganda. They have been derived 1st-hand, through 20+ years of 'job' experience and knowledge.

Iran is the largest exporter of terrorism and instability in the Middle East, having tendrils all over the area. They are not 'civil', 'friendly', 'democratic', and / or 'misunderstood' / 'mis-interpreted'.

I also am not nor have been blind to the truth about nations such as Saudi, Turkey, Pakistan, etc. Pakistan, for example, has a government riding a 'seesaw'. They allow the Taliban to flow back into Northern Pakistan during the winter, providing them a safe haven and shelter yet simultaneously raiding the area from time to time to combat them as well, making the Coalition happy by showing they are against the Taliban. Their population is both against and for protecting the Taliban, so they conduct this 'dance' to remain s certain balance. Gulf nations support and are allied with the US yet are also friendly with Iran. (Iran is the 'big bully' in the neighborhood while the US is from 1/2 a world away....so of course they remain on friendly terms with them).

The US does not have to engage in much propaganda regarding Iran. They have sworn to see Israel's destruction, Ahdinijab used to openly talk of nuking Israel and the US being next. Iran's leader led chants of death to America and their military practiced bombing mock US Aircraft Carriers as Obama negotiated his deal. They are not our friends. Propaganda is not needed to prove that.

Well, that's not quite accurate either. Iranian-backed Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah has attacked and killed numerous Americans. Iran wasn't directly responsible, but it did supply Hezbollah with the money & weapons.

The US isn't on the most safe list either. I feel pretty safe. It depends on your neighborhood really. Certain cities have a lot more gang violence and crime is all. You are probably more likely to be a victim of a crime if you are in a highly populated area. Bigger countries with more people are going to have move violence because more people = more crazy people and more crime.
