All employer's should have to submit/publish their profits to labor cost ratio's. Paying people $7.00 dollars an hour while making billions is a major problem if the employee's are doing everything they can for their companies.

If a company is found to be abusive to it's employee's against a created backdrop of minimal standard's that would be set, and then expected by them to at least meet such minimal standard's, then the volunteer unionizing of worker's should be the results of such a situation that is found to be one of abuse. In the past there has been a lot of abuse that began to grow in some industries in which those industries began to follow trends that were created by those industries that were unionizing at the top against their workers, and all in order to keep huge profits at the employees expense for whom were being abused.

I have witnessed in a company, where as the company changed hands (was bought out), and when this happened alot of key employee's began to quit after a year went by. Why we're they leaving one might ask ?

It's because the new ownership began to lie immediately, and so next the benefits and pay was cut with promises that if the company could show a profit in that year (in which it did more than that easily), then the benefits and pay would return. Well the lie went down, and the employees who weren't your average lower educated workforce began to quit. Well according to your theory it doesn't matter, because it would have no bearing on the rich ownership who could just run that company by themselves if they had too right ?? WRONG !!!!!

Next thing ya know benefits returned, and the rate of pay went back up, so what happened ?? The key employee's who left sent shockwaves through the companies ability to get the job done on time, and to satisfy it's customers as it always did. Bottom line is the company got fooled into thinking that it could just lie and get away with it, but it quickly found out otherwise.
