All depends. If they said he was born in ohio and it was actually indiana nobody would care. But giving an exotic birthplace like kenya to boost sales is another matter. If false that would clearly be fraud and prosecutable. That's why we know the agency must have checked out the story and found out the evidence for kenya birth was strong. THINK
