Is the Tea Party dead?

)sigh)

fyi, you proved yourself wrong.

obama leads the country, the dems control the Senate. obama puts together an economic plan and the dems pass it. The dems won't pass any of obamas plans.

obama and the dems are responsible for the down grade.

ty for the link proving me right and that you were wrong again.

Sighs........puts head in hands in disgust

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_O'Neill_(cabinet_member)

Paul Henry O'Neill (born December 4, 1935) served as the 72nd United States Secretary of the Treasury for part of President George W. Bush's first term. He was fired[1] in December 2002 for his public disagreement with the administration and became a harsh critic. Prior to his term as Secretary of the Treasury, O'Neill was chairman and CEO of Pittsburgh-based industrial giant Alcoa and chairman of the RAND Corporation.

The right tossed this man in the trash when he tried to talk sense to the Bush team.

Then they crashed the economy and put the US in huge debt

who was the guy that got fired for saying the pill bill would cost twice as much as the Bush admin said?
And who was correct?

Which house is responsible for spending bills?

If Romney is nominated at the GOP candidate, where is the Tea Party? Can the Tea Party support Mitt Romney? I need a honest answer to a honest question.

You might want to ask if the OWS is dead.

The purpose of the Tea Party was to cut the debt and stop over taxation. If nether is addressed the Tea Party will be around for a long time. Longer than the OWS.

If our elected officials step out of line they'll hear from the Tea Party.

The only thing the OWS does is piss on cop cars.

Not yet. But they are growing old so fast, it won't be long.

No we are not dead.

There are tons of oter politicians we are supporting besides just a POTUS candidate.

We will also get behind whoever makes it as the GOP candidate. (unlike Paulbots)

Change takes longer than a couple of elections.... we are in it for the long haul.

At least this voter is :dunno:

I will vote for Mitt if he wins the nod.
However if Santorum wins the nod I will likely vote against him by holdig my nose and pulling the Dem lever for president.

Santorum is a pure nut, Mitt is fairly reasonable and would do a bit better than Obama imho.

There is no difference between the Bush deficit (after 911 and Katrina) and the 16 trillion dollars run up by obama because he figured out how to use the government to launder money for the democrats.

Wow....this keeps getting better and better

Now Obama has run up $16 trillion in debt all by himself?

Funny part is assholes such as yourself actually believe it

Of course he didn't do it all by himself. He had a lot of democrats to help him.

They are dead until Roger Ailes and Fox News decides they are needed again

If Romney is elected you will never hear of the Tea Party again

They will never die off.

Here is the proof.

Government - Interest Expense on the Debt Outstanding

Government - Historical Debt Outstanding – Annual

Downtown in Seattle today a guy had the national debt and yearly interest numbers on the tail of his pickup.

Your proof of the vitality of the Tea Party is a bumper sticker on the back of a pickup?

Yup, the deficit suddenly became a big problem when Obama was elected. But during the Bush administration Cheney said "You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don't matter," They didn't matter until black Democrat was elected. Then the Baggers appeared...without the sheets.

Mr Bush gave him $11.5 trillion of that before Obama even took office

But I forgot....we are not allowed to mention BOOOOOSH

Keep saying it.

How do Bush and Obama compare on closer inspection? Just about like they do on an initial glance. According to the White House's Office of Management and Budget, during his eight fiscal years, Bush ran up a total of $3.283 trillion in deficit spending (p. 22). In his first two fiscal years, Obama will run up a total of $2.826 trillion in deficit spending ($1.294 trillion in 2010, an estimated $1.267 trillion in 2011 (p. 23), and the $265 billion in "stimulus" money that was spent in 2009). Thus, Bush ran up an average of $410 billion in deficit spending per year, while Obama is running up an average of $1.413 trillion in deficit spending per year — or $1.003 trillion a year more than Bush.

The Weekly Standard: Obama Vs. Bush On Debt : NPR

Since this is coming from NPR it's probably even worse.

Still I can't personally complain, the worse the economy gets, the higher the gas prices are (and the effect of gas prices), the higher the unemployment rate is, even considering democrat lies, the less likely it is that obama will stay in the white house.

Good luck with that.

They kept their mouths shut when Bush was president, they will keep their mouths shut if Romney gets elected

Once Obama gets reelected they will be back

Yes, deficits and the size of government magically became ‘bad’ on January 20, 2009 at Noon.

Quite wrong actually

One has to remember that Bush decided that wars in Iraq and Afghanistan would not count against HIS debt

Add in Bushs wars and he doubled the national debt from $5.5 trillion to $11.5 trillion

If Bush ran up a deficit to fund wars, then obama can run up a deficit for nothing at all. Right?

Whether you want to admit it or not, Americans are suffering under obama's bootheel and didn't under Bush. Again, this is not all bad. If it is painful enough, obama will be dragged out of office.

When Bush ran up debt to pay for wars it was called .......PATRIOTISM
When Obama ran up debt to help American people, it was called......SOCIALISM

The problem with the left is that they rely on fear and hatred instead of reason. It's a bi-polar thing but lefties have been taught to hate and fear banks and corporations even though they rely on banks and corporations. The left hates and fears the Tea Party so much that they exaggerate the Tea Party's influence in national politics. The Tea Party is not part of the republican party. It's primarily a grass-roots local organization that would support democrats but their is little hope for the democrat party so they do what they can do to get the best candidate in a national election.

It has noting to do with ‘admitting’ anything, the above is patently false and idiotic, a contrivance of the partisan right.

When Bush ran up debt to pay for wars it was called .......PATRIOTISM
When Obama ran up debt to help American people, it was called......SOCIALISM
Bush ran up debt to give a tax break to the rich and expand the size of government, it was more patronage than patriotism.

I would go as far as voting for Michele Bachmann before Obama.
I'm no Romney fan. He's a flip flopin moron and a huge insider.
Santorum is a full blown Conservative for the most part. In my opinion he is exactly what we need along with a Brand New and improved congress and senate.
I like his position on instilling morals back into society.. Not by demands but by suggestion and patience. He's less likely to fuck us than any of the others including the guy who's been fuckin us for the last three years.
Man he has just shit all over us and the Constitution.
