Trump's contradictions hit a fever pitch - CNNPolitics
Come on CNN, give the poor guy a break. He has had a horrendous last couple of weeks.
After the last mass shootings, he has been in never-never land while struggling to keep the NRA in it's customary position as his administration's gun policy makers. It is so discouraging to see his facade of "stand up guy," "never back down or apologize guy," or "do what he says guy" just wither in the face of the NRA. But, he can't help it.
And then there's the economy, the one thing that keeps him afloat, showing major signs of crashing.
Add to that Fox News published their highly anticipated, highly respected polling showing that all of the Democrat Presidential candidates who matter are kicking Trump's ass bigly. That had to hurt, not so much what the polls said, but that Fox had the audacity to make them public and embarrass a President who is so narcissistic. Then, woe and behold, Trump gets smacked down by the Prime Minister of Denmark, a woman no less. It seems that every where he turns these days women are pillaging him left and right. No wonder he quivers and shakes like a boat without a rudder.
So please CNN, lighten up on the poor guy. He has a lot to contend with these days, so many things to interrupt his TV and golf time.
