Waiting on the Cowardly Dante!!
it appears that virtually nothing will stop the advancing hoards.... 7 air strikes a day by coalition forces, are a waste of time!

... It was the most striking feat of the ISIS’s new tactic, which is to go for the top commanders of enemy forces in order to throw them into disarray and undermine their morale. Norouzi was the second Iranian general fighting in Iraq to succumb to this tactic.....

"Israel is getting extremely worried about the expanding Iranian military operation in Iraq - and even more by the deepening military cooperation and coordination between Washington and Tehran in that country, especially the close consultations between their officers in Iraqi battle arenas.

Dempsey took exception to this view and brushed Israel’s concerns aside. Indeed, he made a point of defending Washington’s position, when he told reporters: “If it is a path that ties the two countries [Iraq and Iran] more closely together economically and even politically, as long as the Iraqi government remains committed to inclusivity of all the various groups inside the country, then I think Iranian influence will be positive."

this takes the cake , instead of talking about the brutalness of ISIS and their tactics, instead of offering to send in some of their IDF soldiers, Israel is JEALOUS of Iran and the US working together and Iran and Iraq getting closer. Once again another sign that Israel and ISIS are on the same page.

Good Lord, you are truly a deranged person!

Gotta laugh at Iran. ISIS appears to hate them as much as they hate everyone else.

Nuke the bastards from orbit.

You never much from Israel concerning ISIS which is fighting on its northern border with Syria.

Which leads me to believe that Israel has a clandestine hand in supporting and financing ISIS.

As a way to weaken Iran's proxy war in Syria. .....

Well.....I like that old saying....if only both of them could lose........

Meanwhile ...

ISIS begins stripping Mosul in preparation for withdrawal.

ISIS transfers truckloads of medicines from Mosul to Syria

Mosul is basically under siege by coalition forces and Kurds, surrounded on 3 sides. The Kurds took Mt. Sinjar and the surrounding area.

The "conventional" forces of ISIS died outside Tikrit. They'll no longer try a standup battle. ISIS really blundered by beheading Americans. You don't tug on superman's cape.

Psy Ops by the coalition works on convincing Sunni tribes who initially backed ISIS that ISIS is a bunch of psychotic foreign opportunists. ISIS helps by acting like a bunch of psychotic foreign opportunists.

What slows things down is the need to secure territory taken. Packs of ISIS suicide squads are still out there behind the lines. Checkpoints have to be fortified, artillery trained, airstrikes ready with a response time of minutes.

In Syria, ISIS tends to control desert regions in the north and east. There's a good map here that I can't paste in.

ISIS killing Qods...now that's fucking DElightful. It should be remembered Iranian Qod units regularly trained Iraqis in setting and detonating IEDs against American forces and worked hand in hand with the Sadr brigades. Any notion of them being "elite" is hilarious unless you compare them to the rest of Iran's forces which are pathetic even compared to Iraqi regulars. Look at them....wearing beards in that heat, beards full of fleas....how can you aim a Kalashnikov while clawing at your cheeks?
