Again, Israel is a recognized nation with recognized territory. They offered Palestinians a settlement ages ago that would have once and for all settled the region for both but the Arabs did not want that, so everything is still up for grabs. Can you really blame Israel for wishing to expand for their own needs when they need the land and have the means? How is that any different than the United States?
