It doesn’t matter if Trump miraculously secured 100% of funding for his useless wall. It still...

...wouldn’t get built.

1) The amount of private land along the border would create endless court disputes for years that would prevent construction

2) The terrain/river make it impossible to a wall in some areas.

3) The NEVER ENDING cost to maintain the wall would need to be figured out. It would cost close to a billion per year just to maintain this useless barrier that wouldn’t stop most border jumpers.

Winning!

The Great Wall is a perfect example:

The costs vary greatly but it's safe to say the per mile cost is somewhere between 1 - 5 million dollars / mile. That applied to the entire length of the Chinese Wall: 13,170 miles x 1 million dollars = $13 billion to $65 billion. The individual income tax paid in the US is 2012 was a total of 1,359 billion dollars.

The Great Wall was built over many years. It is believed the original Great Wall was built over a period of approximately 20 years.

The primary purpose was always to protect the Chinese Empire from the Mongolians and other invaders. Most of the current Great Wall we see today was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and is approximately 6000km long.

Even though, I used the Great Wall of China as an example to illustrate your OP, is because - THE WALL WORKS.

1) The wall will be built no matter what court disputes arise.

2) Where terrain makes it impossible to build a wall, the wall is not needed in those places, because they are equally impassable to migrants on the ground.

3) Not true that the wall would nit be economical. Walls have been built in recent years in 77 countries around the world. They've been maintiained quite well and still stand today.

From 7 to 77: There's been an explosion in building border walls since World War II

As long as what he's doing triggers you I'm good.

The wall's going up and nothing you can do about it now the SCOTUS has ruled Trump can use defense money for the wall.

Trump hoodwinked Pelosi into this new spending bill and will transfer some of the defense budget to get the wall built.

Give my regards to Pelosi.

India and Bangladesh share a 2,500-mile border, and India is nearing completion of a 1,700-mile barbed wire fence to curb immigration and smuggling. The fence is to block migrants from low-lying Bangladesh who want a better life in India. India also has a 450-mile barrier with Pakistan — a militarized "line of control" to keep out militants because of ongoing tensions between the neighboring nations.

We choose to build the wall in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.

We put a man on the moon in the age of analog crap, but we can't build a wall.

Translation:

BIlly is very butthurt that Trump has prevailed again. Reminds him of Trump's relentless winning on 2016 and ever since.

Trump won, is our president, get over it.

1) Based on....what? Oh nothing. Got it.

2) Oh no they are not because humans can still swim and walk over HILLS.

3) This is such a retarded argument you retards have. Yeah no shit walls work in many scenarios. That doesn’t somehow mean a linear wall along 2000 miles of border is an effective solution to illegal immigration. Not even close.

Billy have you thought about invading some other nation now that Trump is putting stop to the plans?

Maybe Venezuela? Many like-minded people there.

The Great Walls of America should generate revenue from inception, not centuries later.

Oh, it’s because Reagan and other modern president weren’t complete morons who understood immigration was too complex of an issue for a goddamn wall to solve it.

How did the American people latch on to this idea? Well it’s simple and sounds good. That’s all the American people want to hear.

Billy has been wrong on every step of the way. Why anyone would listen to the bullshit...

Trump will build the wall and it will work just as well as anywhere else a wall has been tried, including all the homes of democrat officials. That is exactly what Billy is afraid of.
