Trump did just fine. The lowest GDP damage of all G7 countries outside of China who had a very lengthy head start on covid. Managed to get two vaccines out in record time. Got the PPE we needed because DumBama emptied the shelves and never replaced it. Had less covid deaths than Dementia even though we had no vaccines until the very end of his term. We couldn't have had a better leader than Trump at the time.

What choice did they have? It was either move out or close down. It's the American consumer that controls these things, not the President and not the industry. As long as we insist on buying the cheapest products available, that's what US industry is going to provide if possible.
