It's not so much that conservatives are afraid of change

We're actually okay with change on the whole. It's not like we don't want to improve society and our standard of living. It's not like we don't want to help people do better. All of that requires change by definition. We're really just afraid of the left being the ones solely in control of that change, because we're aware of what happens every time they get unlimited power like that. "Too fast, too much, and too far" becomes the new motto and everyone deemed a traitor to the revolution goes up against the wall.

The Left has failed every time they get power. The greater the power, the bigger the fail

Actually, it's Conservatives that like change. It's Liberals who need pictures on cash registers.

The right is afraid the "left" would act like they would if they had unchallenged power, vengeful, arbitrary and brutal in spite of the fact that the left protects freedom better than they ever did. The domestic surveillance apparatus and the militarization of police are two fascist practices we can lay at their doorstep because, truth be told, they value security far more than freedom and privacy.

Name a first world country that doesn't use social democracy! Our problem is we're a very corrupt nation that allows the super rich to get away with robbing the bank. This doesn't happen nearly as much in other nations.

The left played no role?
How many times did The Obama extend the PA?
How much teethpulling had to be done to even slow the NSA?

Name a first world country using social democracy that isn't failing. On one side is Greece and Portugal. On the other is England and France. Denmark has pulled up the bridge and stopped immigration.

Your idea that we shouldn't be a civilization and work together to improve our own nation is idiotic to the extreme. Stupid policies of letting the world in or giving to much non-investment to bums doesn't for a second prove that social-democracy is a failure.

We aren't afraid of change at all......we want individuals to do it...because the government takes things backwards, not forwards...we believe in individual liberty...which actually creates the most, and best, and most beneficial change in a society.....just look at history...

When individuals follow their dreams because they are free, there is a natural check on things...some things fail, others succeed.......but the whole society doesn't crash....when the government is in charge, as the left wants, then they main line the worst and hamper the best...the whole society suffers

Vietnam is becoming free...and embracing Capitalism....we may have to move there...but of course they are way too close to China....

yeah it does.....the people in Europe are not working anymore...they are all getting on welfare...that is why they have to import so many foriegn workers...sadly, they didn't think...and now they are importing violent people who hate the European culture and beliefs......

Death camps happen a lot in Europe....and Europe is just as corrupt...they just don't have as much to steal....

Yeah....you might want to explain how that works to the 100 million people murdered by left wingers around the world.....

Liberals, labor leaders and academics are always the first victims of an authoritarian state, always. Just so happens the right hates them too.
