Look where some of the Republican flips came from. New York and California. THE blue states. Republicans also got millions more votes than Dems. The House win means no more sham Jan 6 “committee” as well as control of the purse strings.

Glad they were not disappointed.

The Republicans expected to win the Senate.

Senate re-election is set up differently, fewer seats up at 1 time, slimmer chance to take enough seats at 1 time to take the Senate. Realistically taking a couple was possible - taking the entire Senate was going to be tough(er). People with common sense knew that.

Who's the loser now?

Democrats.

They lost the House. The Republicans did not control the Senate to begin with so they didn't really lose anything there by not taking it.


Not meeting unrealistic expectations is not a 'loss', especially when THE HOP succeeded in taking the House.

Democrats and the fake news mefia can try to spin it any wsy they want, but at the end of the day the Democrats lost the House / the GOP took the House from the Democrats.

The Democrats kept the Senate / the GOP failed to take the Senate, which they didn't control so they are no worse off on this one.
