It's time for mandatory vaccination

Government controls American's behavior in numerous ways already.

Your low intellect remains not worth responding to.
Spoken like a wannabe dictator.

And if you think that YOU are 'intellectual' because you advocate the oppressive exercise of government power against the will of the American people, you are more ridiculously deluded than I had thought.

Dr. Brytney Cobia said Monday that all but one of her COVID patients in Alabama did not receive the vaccine. The vaccinated patient, she said, just needed a little oxygen and is expected to fully recover. Some of the others are dying.

“I’m admitting young healthy people to the hospital with very serious COVID infections,” wrote Cobia, a hospitalist at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, in an emotional Facebook post Sunday. “One of the last things they do before they’re intubated is beg me for the vaccine. I hold their hand and tell them that I’m sorry, but it’s too late.”

“A few days later when I call time of death,” continued Cobia on Facebook, “I hug their family members and I tell them the best way to honor their loved one is to go get vaccinated and encourage everyone they know to do the same.”

“They cry. And they tell me they didn’t know. They thought it was a hoax. They thought it was political. They thought because they had a certain blood type or a certain skin color they wouldn’t get as sick. They thought it was ‘just the flu’. But they were wrong. And they wish they could go back. But they can’t. So they thank me and they go get the vaccine. And I go back to my office, write their death note, and say a small prayer that this loss will save more lives.”

More than 11,400 Alabamians have died of COVID so far, but midway through 2021, caring for COVID patients is a different story than it was in the beginning. Cobia said it’s different mentally and emotionally to care for someone who could have prevented their disease but chose not to.

“You kind of go into it thinking, ‘Okay, I’m not going to feel bad for this person, because they make their own choice,’” Cobia said. “But then you actually see them, you see them face to face, and it really changes your whole perspective, because they’re still just a person that thinks that they made the best decision that they could with the information that they have, and all the misinformation that’s out there.

I'm advocating for you all to stop being fucking idiots. And if you won't stop endangering people then society will force you to, just like any crazy person running around naked waving a knife.

Have you ever lived in an openly totalitarian state for any amount of time, comrade?

Now, that's funny.

Please try.

The door to door people better have police escorts.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

What a sad story.

Dick-tator

The rest of his thread:

He thinks, as he prepares to leave the hospital after a stay in the ICU, that governments are “trying to shove [the vaccine] down your throat.”

Don’t perform ‘respect’ for him by arguing the facts. Show him the respect of allowing him to decide what consequences he can tolerate.

What consequences? More expensive insurance premiums and co-pays, once the vaccines receive final approval. Bans on air and rail travel. Whatever consequences employers impose on people with no medical reason to refuse vaccination.

People can make their own choices. But …

… they can also absorb the social consequences of that choice. Treating each of us as mature citizens who can accept the consequences of our decisions is a full measure of due respect.

Now of course, that’s their right! But treating such fellow Americans with respect, IMO, requires honoring that some people hold falsifiable beliefs—such as “Trump won the 2020 election” — for reasons that can’t be disabused by a recitation of facts.

I’m uninterested in talking down to such people — who don’t make up _all_ of Trump’s support base, to be clear — by citing the latest Snopes or Poynter fact check. That’s an exercise that seems as useful to me as dancing about architecture.
But I’m also uninterested in “finding common ground” — as if those of us who accept the 2020 election results, or who know that vaccines don’t turn people into magnets, have the burden of “reaching across our political chasm [and] respecting our differences.”

What I’d much rather do: _acknowledge_ those differences — but then move on with the work of governing.

Biden beat Trump in the 2020 election. Stopping the coronavirus from afflicting people requires the use of vaccines. And I’ve lost interest in arguing over stuff such as this.

You still do not understand how epidemics work.
The odds of death for those over 70 are 400 times greater than odds of death if under 40.
So then there is essentially no risk of infection death if under 40 (as long as not overweight, vaping, etc.).
So there is no reason to add the risk of experimental vaccines that are not FDA approved.

Molly is correct. Andy is correct.

Molly and Andy are ignorant.
Traditional vaccines are safe because they occur in nature, but ones synthetically concocted with GMO techniques are not.
No one should be taking or suggesting experimental artificial vaccines that are not even FDA approved.

There is no reason to use these risky vaccines.
Since we now know that those under 40, who do not vape or are overweight, are at less risk from the virus than from the vaccine, then clearly what they should be doing is getting infected with the real virus instead of this dangerous fake vaccine.
I had the Moderna vaccine, and the 2nd shot nearly killed me.
I was sicker than I have ever been, for over 3 weeks.
My toes are still a little numb and I still get headaches a little.

Anyone who says these vaccines are safe is an ignorant idiot.
We have no idea what long range allergic reactions they are going to cause.
Since a fake corona spike was built into the vaccine, it could cause people to react against their own exosomes, and that would be fatal.
It could cause the death of everyone vaccinated, and could happen decades later.

Just like having to prove your age to buy liquor you should have to prove your vaccination before being allowed into any public gathering.
Agree, they must be excluded as much as possible from polite society.
Start with health care workers - In some states only 40% have vaxed - that is ridiculous.
My mind was completely blown yesterday to find out how many US Olympic athletes were unvaxed.
Why in the hell wouldn't that have been mandatory for ALL athletes? :icon_rolleyes:

You're going to force people to get vaccinated with a vaccine that we really don't know the long term effects of? Really, Synth?
In a nutshell? Go fuck yourself. I don't put crap I don't trust into my body and anyone who does so with the "assurances" of our governmental leaders is a fool!

So you're a vegan who only eats organically grown foods with zero preservatives?

You don't drink any alcohol or soft drinks?
I don't drink alcohol or soda. I don't eat processed foods. I eat a lot of chicken and fish.

My point...once again...is that you're taking a real chance introducing a vaccine that hasn't been tested like normal into your body! Forcing people to do that is simply wrong!
