James Clyburn defends federal takeover of elections: 'Cannot be left up to the states'

If the state legislature doesn't LIKE the results of the election...they cn simply ignore it and send a slate of electors that THEY want.

So yea...it does

It's called checks and balances.

The Feds have zero rights to define how a State does it's elections, except when it comes to things mandated by the constitutional amendments made to cover said SPECIFIC issues.

Voting Laws Roundup: July 2021 This is what is taking over elections.

And between Trump trying to steal the election in Ga. and Republicans in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona who were not electors in that state, were exposed for forging documents to overturn those states for Trump, and you want to talk about James Clyburn? :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301:

But, but, but, something about TRUMP!.

That ain't a check or a balance.

It's usurping the will of (the majority of) the people.

All States have to certify their elections, what part of this new law supposedly changes that?

You are making the claim, you have to provide the proof.
WTF are you talking about?

This law would allow the state in question to "certify" the opposite slate of electors from the ones the people voted for
