There's rumors about that delegates are trying to rewrite the rules to cast their own preference. From what I am hearing delegates are already being threatened by Trump supporters. I imagine there is going to be a huge Convention floor fight.

The problem they have is no one is willing to be the sacrificial nominee, should they try and replace Trump with another. Some delegates don't want any of the 2016 nominees. Paul Ryan has already said no. Mitt Romney says he won't do it unless he's drafted. So then who?
