This happened to one of my airmen once.

He came to me, and we talked it out.

The person was gonna blackmail him because he sent pics of his 'little airman' to who he thought was some hot chick...like this guy.

They told him that if he didn't send x amount of money they were gonna tell his commander he was transmitting porn to a minor...blah blah.

It was one of these scam things.

I told him to tell them to go get fucked.

He just ignored them.

Nothing ever came of it.

You get these young guys who have no life experience, thinkin with their dicks, and then when it goes south they think their world is gonna end.

I hope they can track down the blackmailers and have them put away.

Know someone they tried this with. Was a little more intense than send me money or I will release the nudes and the video. Once they had him on the hook, the deep dove into his accounts before making the demand. They knew his twitter, his email, his facebook, his home address, his relatives etc. He never paid up and so far as he knows they were never released, to anyone but they harassed him hard for several days with threats.
