Justice Ginsberg attacks the legitimacy of Trump's candidacy

Even the media is scalding her for the statements........my ? is, how does somebody so stoopid get picked to be on the SCOTUS?:eusa_think:

Scalia was the most activist SCOTUS judge ever to sit on the bench. The cons loved his con biased opinions. But when Ginsburg gives her's the cons call it inappropriate, because the truth hurts their little feelings.

Trump can't call Clinton crooked without proving that he's not, by releasing his tax returns. Thanks Ruth.

  1. Any SCOTUS Decision overturning a law must be ratified by 3/4 of the states in order for it to become effective
  2. 10 year term limit on SCOTUS justices

Point 1 would be shooting ourselves in the foot with regards to 2nd amendment issues. Point 2 may be more doable

The main issue however, is the overall continued collection of power at the federal level in general, and in the judiciary and the executive branches in particular. The SC debacles we are going through now are just a symptom, not the disease itself. The abandonment of federalism is the actual disease.

I like Justice Ginsberg; however, it was foolish of her to make such comments.

God forbid the election goes to the SC, she would have to recuse herself.
Nope. If the cons can refuse to appoint the ninth justice, she has no choice but to vote. All the other justices are just as politically seated. They all have their own political views, just like Scalia did.

yeah good point on point 1.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg calls Trump a 'faker,' he says she should resign - CNNPolitics.com

Trump thinks he can attack a judge's heritage and ethnicity but reacts badly to being called out by Ginsberg.

She was great friends with Scalia. She believes in civility. She obviously believes Trump's candidacy is an attack on the Constitution.

She also said she wishes to overturn decisions that have already been made. Clearly a demonstration of bias which she is not supposed to be. She is supposed to be thoughtful about the cases brought before her, she clearly isn't and should step down because of that.

None of them went out and bashed a candidate in an upcoming election. Its a blatant conflict of interests.
