I believe I read that a plea bargain was denied by the judge, which is good. I don't know if he can resubmit another deal or not.

The case against OJ was very weak. It was obvious the cops planted the bloody gloves. OJ was stupid to give them a blood sample.

No doubt. The case was lost long before the murder. When Mark Furhman applied for disability pay, claiming that his experiences with LAPD made him too racist to be a cop, and they kept him on the force, they set a boobie trap for any major case Furhman was involved in.

But they also lost the case by putting Marcia Clark in charge of it, and going out of their way to put a judge percieved as neither white nor black. Moving the case out of the jurisdiction in which the murder happened was a mistake.

But none of that means that OJ did not kill his ex-wife and a man who happened to be speaking with her when he did. Not when he so obviously did.

The mistakes were made because they did not think there was anyway to lose such an obvious case.
