While I liked Bush as a person and I actually believe he did what he felt was right for the country at the time, the fact is that he was an absolute disaster for this country. What scares me the most is that the vast majority of Republicans would love to go back to those same policies that created such a mess to begin with. There is no reason among conservatives. They just have their ideology and to hell with the results so long as they get lower taxes and we're at war with someone.
