Former, Lebanese justice minister Ashraf Rifi deserves to be commended for his stance against terrorists. While he's no fan of Israel he's also not a fan of having his government infiltrated by terrorist organizations.

The simple fact is that Many Arab Muslims in the area don't want any trouble with Israel and would prefer to maintain peaceful relations. As evidenced by Rifi's resignation in disgust of an organization like Hezbollah having so much influence.

We may not be able to agree on much around here but I'd think we all can agree the racism and bigotry which drives organizations like Hezbollah have no place in government.

My hats off to a brave man.

There is already a shortage of judges, heaven forbid they loose any supreme court judges with no one to replace by right, appoint or elect another, or appoint regular judges.

It is more complicated than the US system.

The simple reality is that Israel only agreed to pull out after inflicting severe damage to Hezbollah and after the UN and Lebanon agreed to better police the terrorists and secure the border as well as all rocket fire.
