No businessman in his right mind purposely loses money....it's not a business plan anybody would touch. So why are the dopes in D.C. insisting that our healthcare be insurance-based and then try to stick preexisting conditions to it? Why would an insurer take on somebody already assured of costing them money with little to no hope they could ever be reimbursed through premiums? They wouldn't without government back-up. You know who killed BarryCare? Marco Rubio a year ago when he cut off the backdoor payments to insurance companies losing their shirts covering preexisting illness and injury.
That made it clear that a plan without Sam picking up the check for the already-ill won't ever work. Pelousy and crew knew it from the jump.....their plan was to have the fiasco implode and send us straight into single-payer ie socialized medicine. So let them deal with the harvest of what they did to healthcare. They knew who controls healthcare controls the people, the ultimate decider in each of our lives....would we qualify for healthcare? They'd decide.
What they didn't plan on was a Republican sitting in the Oval Office. It doesn't matter if Ryan can paste together a skittish coalition to get it out of the House and drop it in the Senate's lap. It will never get 60 votes there unless Mitch decides to Gorsuch it with an up-or-majority vote and he's said he doesn't want to do that. So screw it. Let BarryCare fall apart just before the 2018 mid-terms when the Rats are most vulnerable. And forget about the already ill being included in a new plan to the detriment of all the rest of us.
