My question is, why would liberals care if parts of the state secede? Would they fight it? Most likely, Liberals would only care about lost the Electoral votes.
When Blue states or blue cities fail, the last thing they want is part of their tax base leaving. Remember, it’s all about the taxes. Someone needs to do the work.

Unless of course all you care about is the fact that Liberal policies are being rejected, people want out, and would have an impact on Oregon’s electoral votes?

Not true at all. Eastern Oregin is screwed by the coastal cities. They are forced to do things that might make sense in an urban environment but make no sense in a rural. And if the rural regions decided to stop providing food to the urban areas how many hours do you think they could last before you started seeing Escape From New York style horrors occurring.
