The reason for the post; Republicans have nothing to offer the middle class

What have Democrats done for Small Business and Entrepreneurs? Democrats demonize and shake down wall street yet have done nothing for Main Street. What could be more Middle Class

I made a statement. You answer mine, and I'll answer yours.

Here's my plan for Main Street.

-Raise minimum wage to $23.50/hr. Based on where minimum wage should be using 1970-2013 rise in food, shelter, and transportation.

-Eliminate all business subsidies (deductions/write-off’s/write-downs) except for employee expenses which are deducted dollar-for-dollar on all city, state, and Federal taxes and fees.

-Companies with 300 employees or less, employee expenses above the deduction are subsidized at 100% with funds usually give back to the States.

-Adjust Social Security and private/public retirement and pension payments using 1970-2013 price structure. Remove the FICA limit.

-Back down ALL costs, prices, fees, to January 1, 2009 levels and hold them for 10 years.

-Recall ALL off-shore investments tax free, and disallow any further off-shore investments.

I guess you better be careful with lawn mowers, bicycles, tools or other common items found in most people's garages. Will neighbors be asked to report people who dare to leave the weed whacker or a box of old junk in the garage ? Will police do garage inspections? What about garage sales? That would be a hefty chunk of money if they fine per item. They will claim it's for safety, but keeping things in a garage is no less dangerous than keeping them in the basement or attic.

This ordinance was discussed on this forum several months ago. It has been on the books for like 30 years and there is movement on the City Council to repeal it.

Obama is not on any pro spy leash. Presidents might campaign on l limiting principals but they rarely actually follow them. Obama, just like Bush, want that part and certainly do not give it up easily. It is one of the core reasons that I do not support such expansions of power, they rarely if ever are scaled back.

Obama WANTS that power. No lobby is forcing him to keep it.
