Happening right now. Watching all 3 checking delays (odd habit) I notice something extremely unusual. CNN has the least delay. MSNBC (reading from Notes now) +25s compared to CNN. And Fox has about +17s vs CNN.

Live delays came about a while ago after newscrews caught people getting killed in highspeed police pursuits or shootouts. Everyone decided not to air death any more. So usually the delay's about 7 seconds giving control room people time to black things out should the worst happen. But ordinarily, the big 3's delay is within a few seconds of each other. The delay right now is unprecedentedly long which raises the question. Do Fox and MSNBC have reason to believe someone may do something bad to Dr. Carson? Having no one to compare CNN to I can't determine if their's is unusually ong as well, but the other are WAY longer than normal.

Conspiracy theory at its best.
It also came about because of language not allowed over general airwaves.

No, if you watch old blooper type shows, pleanty of naughty words slipped in on even taped shows. :) Had nothing to do with language.
