My first duty station was Ft Drum in upstate NY. I kept in touch with a few buddies from there after I PCS'd to Korea. They told me that when Senator Hillary Clinton went to visit 10th Mountain soldiers during their rotation in Afghanistan Commanders couldn't fill seats for the visit so they asked for "volunteers". FYI when the Brass asks its not really an option to say no. This is what the troops thought about Clinton then and that hasn't changed. The military has a CINC that seems to care about them.

Now all Trump has to do is fix the fucked up Veterans Administration.
