Biggest Crocodile Dies in Captivity
The 20.24-foot (6.17-meter) Lolong passed away in the Philippines.
The cause of death is unknown, although a post-mortem may reveal more details, CNN reported."
Excellent documentary about its' capture, transportation to the zoo by locals, and speculation it wasn't the reported 'big one' inhabiting the area.
"Lolong's necropsy* revealed that he died from congestive heart failure compounded by fungal pneumonia, lipidosis of the liver and kidney failure. Essentially his immune system was compromised, and if there's one thing that will do this it's chronic (ie. long-term) stress."

Since he didn't die of old age, bigger ones might well exist.
