When you manage to get another party member into the White House, all of these liberals and progressives on this forum are going to go to bat and defend him or her when they use the IRS to deny free speech rights, or use the IRS to deny health care to specific groups of people.

You are in the hospital waiting for approval for lifesaving surgery. Your IRS health care advisor is giving you an approval interview and asks if you pray, who do you pray to, and what are the details of every prayer you ever prayed.

Question number 5: What political party do you donate to regularly?

The good news is the new President can blame the Obama administration for at least the first 4 years of their term and the Libs wont be able to say shit about it.

Why do fundy Christians need medical care?

Didn't their sky fairy jr tell them to pray and they will be healed?

James 5:15,
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up"

If you are a believer and if you have your Bible nearby, we can look at your health care policy from another angle. Turn to Matthew 6:25-34. jebus sezzzzzzzzzzzz:

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Jebus' statement is clear: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself." Yet health insurance is a physical manifestation of worry. You buy health insurance because you are worried about your health tomorrow.

ha ha...already giving up on the "IRS scandal " ?

they're running out of things to *cough* "investigate" (throw countless amounts of taxpayer dollars at and, at the end of the day, have nothing to show for it :) Just like their 35+ HC repeal votes.
Whatever happened to the Repubs & "jobs, jobs, jobs"? :eusa_eh: It was just a campaign slogan is what.

Maybe you should wait until at least one shred of evidence is produced that supports the argument that the President was in any way complicit in any wrongdoing at the IRS before start inane threads like this one.

It's fascinating that the rightwing inmates are already preemptively establishing the rationalizations for their inevitable flip flops in the event a Republican is elected president.

I will be sure to mark that day on the calender it will be right next to hell freezes over.

All too true. By that time, they will have conveniently forgotten their blind absolution of Obama and claim they never stood for allowing the IRS to target political organizations.'

And the wheel turns...

Can't talk about something that you've failed to create.

Oh wait...we still do talk about jobs, jobs, jobs.....also liberty and freedom......from oppressive government.

That would be government that does not use the most powerful agency in the country to target opposition groups.

But you don't really care about jobs anyway, do you? Its all about stopping your enemies.

Oh look! The primates have joined in!

It goes both ways. Both parties are occupied by partisan hacks. Remember when "small government conservatives" supported the Patriot Act?

Let me get this straight. You are saying that Obama directed 2 Bush appointees in the IRS to target Conservatives?

Really?

This with no proof whatsoever..

Gotta love it.

Swallow is in favor of corporate bailouts and corporate welfare. Who knew?

As to the OP, no. It's different somehow. Libs are the biggest fucking hypocrites to walk the planet. So if the next GOP president uses drones to target al Qaeda leaders for assasination he will be labeled a terrorist.
