I have completed watching the entire Max Max franchise in preparation for Furiosa.
The entire franchise is on the Max streaming service.
Fury Road has been reviewed by others on this forum, so I won't be starting a new topic about it.
Beyond Thunderdome was the third and final appearance of Mel Gibson as Max.
Thunderdome was not well received by theater-goers at the time. I don't care. I like it better now than I did then.
I've always had a crush on Tina Turner. More specifically, those incredible legs. And they are showcased bigtime in Thunderdome.
Max has his possessions stolen by the flying asshole from the Road Warrior and ends up at a rogue's paradise called Bartertown in the middle of the desert. Bartertown is run by Aunty (Tina Turner) and she makes a deal with Max to replenish him with everything he needs in exchange for taking out an underling who has too much control.
Everything goes sideways and as in all Mad Max movies, Max finds himself in another protracted running road battle.
Like I said, I enjoyed this movie and you might, too. It has aged very well, and I miss Tina.
