Thanx for the link..quite informative. The gist of it is that the majority of vets are Republican (59%) as opposed to the general public (44%) so it stands to reason that they would lean to the right.

I'm a vet...and, to the surprise of many here, I bet...I'm not totally dissatisfied with Trump in this issue. He shown restraint several times, resisted the pressure from the military and from Bolton. His pullback from Syria..while ill-timed..and poorly planned...was the right move..IMO--me, I want the US out of the region completely..Syria was a good step.
It is easy to put it on the Generals..and let them carry the ball..they are eager to do so..much harder to resist the simple solutions.
