I was in the home security business for a number of years....most home-invasions end in homicide. That's why I find the monday morning quarterbacking of prosecutors trying to judge the homeowners "state of mind" while defending their home and loved ones to be insulting. If you have a firearm during such an event, USE IT....never bluff with it...the longer you take to decide to shoot, the less likely you are to shoot. Let a jury decide what they'd do in your place...at least you'll be alive to hear the verdict.
