One logical way to look at this development is this:

The SAME legal team that is representing Manafort is the same as those representing the low-life, Trump.....and viceversa.

More likely, is that Manafort's lawyers were begging for a promise of a PARDON by Trump.

Let Trump issue a pardon and let's let loose "the dogs of impeachment" hearings.

trump's lawyers admitted that manafort's lawyer had been briefing trump on what manafort was telling the special counsel.

If this isn't illegal it should be.
