While Liberals are screaming, 'The Russians are coming' and demanding recounts that end up benefitting Trump, the Chinese are attempting to 'expand their sphere of influence' by installing anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems (for starters) on their floating islands in the China Sea.

China seeks to claim these islands as part of their landmass / island territory and thus the 12 mile boundary around each as sovereign territory. The UN, and the U.S., does not recognize that claim by the Chinese - no 12 mile buffer for the man-made islands. That did not stop China from declaring the surrounding area to be theirs and ordering everyone to stay out of that area....and that did not stop the U.S. from sailing USN ships through that area not long ago to demonstrate the U.S. does not recognize their claim and will ignore China's warning.

Tensions are rising, and it is only a matter of time if there is a kinetic engagement between the US and China involving these islands and this territory, even if on a small scale.

The Ruskies and the Mooslims are not the only threats rising in the world, and we better start paying attention .. or at least I hope our government is paying close enough attention.

Exclusive: China installs weapons systems on artificial islands - U.S. think tank

"China appears to have installed weapons, including anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems, on all seven of the artificial islands it has built in the South China Sea... The Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative (AMTI) said its findings come despite statements by the Chinese leadership that Beijing has no intention to militarize the islands in the strategic trade route, where territory is claimed by several countries."
