Pro-Russian protesters who seized the regional government building in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk are reported to have declared a "people's republic".

The rebels have called for a referendum on secession from Ukraine by 11 May.

Eastern Ukrainians are up in arms because the Western Ukrainians kicked out their man with this coup.

Well apart from the fact that the West overthrew a duly elected President the West under Svoboda wants to ban the Russian language. So half the country speaks Ukrainian and tossed the President from the East AND wants to ban the Russian language, to me its obvious that Eastern Ukrainians don't have a warm a fuzzy feeling from Kiev.

Putin is spending money paying Russian goons to scare the locals to support them or paying them off to support them. Add the FSB and special ops scum working the locals too, you see the government in Kyiv with massive budget problems thanks to the Russian thief that stole millions on his way to Russia and sheer incompetance.

The majority of people in eastern ukraine don't support Putin, they would rather fix their problems with Kyiv than to have Russian scum show up and ruin their lives. The Russian mafia and rich scum are supporting Putin's insane expansion because they see new victims in ukraine.
