Michael Obama would beat Trump?

You realize I posted the United States Code that said candidates can donate unlimited amounts to the party right?

Ok, if that’s the case, then why even have campaign finance law. 5 republicans enter the race…each of them raises 100 million dollars….when the nominee is made, the other 4 drop out and give their money to the RNC…who then just gives all of it to the new nominee, and no violation took place..

I didn't say the party entity could give the money to the new campaign, technically not sure. But as a party, they * * CAN * * spend the money in support of that candidate. For example media buys for attack ads against an opponent. At the end of the ad if it comes from the campaign there is a required notice that the candidate sponsored the ad. On the other hand if it's financed by the DNC/RNC the notice is that the party sponsored it.

But under your example, yes. Multiple if there are multiple candidates who raise X dollars, they then drop out of an election. They can choose to (a) keep the money for another campaign in the future, (b) make limited donations to anther candidate, or (c) donate and unlimited amount to a local, state, or national party.

Yeah but at the end of the day it’s really the same thing. You could say it’s an “in kind” donation. So the 4 candidates drop out of the race and donate their campaign funds to their committee, and that committee uses the money for ads, which the campaign now doesn’t have to spend money on.

Sounds like those Repub candidate that dropped out need to donate their campaign cash to the RNC so they can use it on the Trump campaign.
